Christmas in the Age of Covid

Storytelling Cafe's Midwinter Feast

Wednesday 16th December

The Cafe Crew will bring to you a celebration of the bleak mid-winter and the Christmas story.  We may face a flat Zoom screen but that doesn't stop us all being together.

You will have to bring your own wine and we can't provide the cake but we can provide good cheer, fun and some great storytelling.

So please join us at the link below:

COMMENTS FROM PREVIOUS ZOOM CAFES

I just wanted to thank you and all the tellers I was able to enjoy and listen in with yesterday.  'Twas lovely!  Sorry I needed to depart mid Kit's story...I chanced it by not leaving before as I so wanted to hear it.

     Grateful,  Tracy

Storytelling Cafe was a most enjoyable evening.  There was a good mix of myth, magic and mayhem.... nicely linked with chat which is always fun as are the little yellow clap symbols. For those that are quick with unmuting and re-muting it was good to hear a few hands clapping.

It might not be a lock-in, or a lock-down or a lock-up but Christmas Cafe ain't going to be the same this year.   But we still have stories, songs and good cheer.  Christmas abounds with traditions, often embedded in every family as they always do that thing that their nan did.

Well, we are going to do all of the things that we have always done; bring mid-winter stories from around the world for you to share.  There will be some songs and jokes and we may be able to sprinkle some magical storytelling glitter.
